Bio (voluntary) |
I am an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience, and my research program is focused on understanding brain substrates for flexible behavioral control and reinforcement learning (RL). My training in systems and computational neuroscience uniquely positions my research group to combine interdisciplinary approaches to study: 1) the anatomical and functional properties of brain decision-circuits, 2) link identified biological mechanisms to computational operations within normative theoretical frameworks, and 3) to ultimately understand how Cortico-Strial circuits and computational specializations become leveraged during different behavioral demands and breakdown in psychopathology. |
